Low-profile chocks

Low-profile chocks (ASTR series)
SKF Vibracon is an adjustable machinery mounting chock that is easy and accurate to set. The chock accommodates an angular difference of up to 4° between the machine and mounting base without expensive machining of the foundation or additional installation work with epoxy resin chocks. Its self-levelling capability combined with height adjustment eliminates the possibility of soft foot in the production line throughout the machine's entire service life.
Low-profile elements offer an economical solution for retrofit projects or fixed-design systems where expensive machined chocks, shims or epoxy resin were previously used.
The SKF Vibracon low-profile configuration addresses applications where the chock height between the foundation and component was determined by a previous design. Most other chocking methods are time-consuming and do not support machinery owners' life-cycle needs or installation activities performed to tight schedules.
SKF Vibracon is available in different materials to meet the needs of your application, including the most demanding environments.
