Resilient mount kits
The SKF Vibracon kit is designed for clean and permanent alignment and chocking of resiliently mounted equipment. This universal chocking solution is particularly quick and easy to use on resilient mounts in the marine industry, such as beneath engines, generators and skids, and is adjustable and reusable.
Correct installation of resilient mounts is a critical process. Strict tolerances apply both to individual resilient mounts and to all resilient mounts relative to one another. The result is often a time-consuming installation process when conventional methods such as epoxy resin or steel shims are used. The SKF Vibracon resilient mounting kit simplifies installation and minimises installation time.
The SKF Vibracon resilient mounting kit provides a complete mounting set suitable for aligning and installing one resilient mount.
Each kit consists of the following parts and is supplied as a one-box solution for trouble-free installation:
- 1 x adapter plate
- 4 x SKF Vibracon chocks
- 4 x spherical washers
- 4 x foundation bolts with washers and nuts
- 4 x bolts
- 4 x locking bolts
- 1 x adjustment tool
