RBB seals
RBB seals are polyurethane buffer U-cup seals and feature a LUBRITHANE (TPU) sealing ring incorporating a polyamide (PA) or polyacetal (POM) anti-extrusion ring. The flexible outer static sealing lip and notches on the front face ensure that pressure can be relieved back to the system side of the buffer, preventing pressure build-up between the rod seal and buffer seal. These profiles are suitable for extreme pressures and demanding loads in heavy-duty applications up to 690 bar (10 000 psi). They are available in metric and inch sizes, with some metric sizes fitting seal housings in accordance with ISO 7425-2:1989.
