The reliability of oil-lubricated machinery depends heavily on oil cleanliness. Due to its fluid nature, oil can easily become contaminated from the moment it is delivered to the machine.

An oil conditioning station helps clean oil while filling reservoirs, during transfer and, most importantly, while it remains in storage. A continuous filtration process helps achieve the desired cleanliness level. Finally, an additional step to improve machine reliability is to verify the top-up process at machine level and its sealing conditions to prevent the ingress of new contaminants. From that point onward, it is a matter of monitoring oil condition. Devices such as oil conditioning equipment can help maintain the desired cleanliness level for a given machine.

Features

• Reservoirs - made from aluminised steel and available in 10 different colours and four sizes: 113, 246, 454 and 908 litres (30, 65, 120 and 240 US gal)
• Flexible and configurable system to suit the number of lubricants that need to be stored and dispensed
• Spill control - all systems are supplied as standard with integrated spill containment pans for SPCC and EPA compliance and general environmental protection
• Fire protection - supplied as standard with MSHA-CFR30 fire-resistant hoses, with optional fusible-link isolation valves and automatic tap shut-offs
• Filtration - all systems are equipped with fluid filtration with a choice of micron ratings, as well as air breathers. The filter micron rating should be selected according to target cleanliness values and oil viscosity.
• All systems are supplied fully assembled - for efficient transport and rapid on-site installation
• Transport - all systems have integrated transport pallets for easy access by forklifts and hand pallet trucks, improving mobility during transport and at the workplace
• Power - all systems can be equipped with 110 V / 220 V, 50 Hz / 60 Hz motors according to customer specifications
• High viscosity - Each reservoir is equipped with an individual high-viscosity pump with a flow rate of 3 US gal/min, enabling oils up to ISO VG 680 to be dispensed
