SKF OilCheck monitor
SKF TMEH 1 is a portable instrument that provides immediate information about oil condition, eliminating the need for lengthy laboratory testing. The unit measures changes in the oil's dielectric constant.
By comparing measurements obtained from used and unused oils of the same type and brand, the OilCheck monitor can determine the degree of change in oil condition. The dielectric change is directly related to oil degradation and contamination level. It enables the user to optimise intervals between oil changes and detect increased mechanical wear and loss of oil lubricating properties. For easier trending, the instrument features a numerical readout.
