HDL seals - SKF Flex seals
Heavy-duty industrial seals, self-retaining metal-cased seals for open-end or through-bore housings.
HDL seals (fig. 1) are premium metal-cased radial shaft seals for oil lubrication. They are specially designed for severe operating conditions, including high speeds and temperatures. The high-speed capability of HDL seals makes them an excellent choice for the demanding operating conditions encountered in paper machine rolls.
HDL seals feature a combination of a stainless steel garter spring and individual stainless steel finger springs around the entire circumference of the seal. This spring combination provides effective sealing and long service life, even under severe operating conditions.
HDLA seals are designed with an elastomeric auxiliary lip for additional protection against contaminants.
