Heavy-duty industrial wear sleeve (LDSLV4)

For shaft diameters from 211.15 to 1 143 mm (8.313 to 45 in.), SKF offers heavy-duty industrial wear sleeves (LDSLV4 design, fig. 1). Sleeves are made to order for shaft diameters within the primary ranges shown in the table.

LDSLV4 wear sleeves are recommended where sealing conditions are severe, particularly where solid contaminants can reach the seals, such as in rolling mills, primary metal plants, and chemical and mineral processing plants.

The sleeves are made from chrome-plated SAE 1008 carbon steel for increased wear and corrosion resistance. The sleeve outside diameter is specially ground to provide a precision sealing surface. The wall thickness of standard sleeves is 2.39 mm (0.094 in.).
