Axial clamp seals for power transmission

Axial clamp seals are designed for large and very large shaft diameters. They seal axially against a rotating surface. They can be used as primary seals or as secondary seals when the primary seal is exposed to excessive contamination. The seals are made of reinforced nitrile rubber and held in place by stainless steel clamps. They are available for shaft diameters from 150 to 4,600 mm (5.9 to 181 in.).

• Suitable for inch and metric shaft diameters
• Unaffected by normal coaxiality deviations or runout
• A very wide range is available, with larger sizes requiring two clamps
• Split versions are available for certain applications
