SKF MUD7 cassette seal
The SKF MUD7 seal design is a cassette seal specially developed for harsh environments and severe operating conditions.
SKF MUD7 Mudblock seals are designed for grease-lubricated applications and offer features including:
- half-metal/half-rubber outside diameter for reliable seal retention in the bore and improved static sealing
- rubber-covered inside diameter for improved sealing and easy installation
- integrated wear sleeve
- SKF patented lip design to extend bearing service life
- bumper that maintains the relative position between the seal and sleeve and acts as a barrier against contaminants
- auxiliary radial lips for contaminant exclusion
