Flexibility
Customers have strong demand for large-diameter sealing solutions tailored to their industrial applications and produced in small to medium quantities. For these seals, SKF uses its unique manufacturing system - CNC turning technology that produces seals with diameters from 540 mm to 4,000 mm and provides a virtually unlimited diameter range for welded seal profiles without additional tooling costs.

On-site welding
Large-diameter seals can be installed on site using a special welding technique. G-ECOPUR is the material best suited for welding. SKF creates on-site joints that achieve the performance of an endless seal.

Process

Seal welding training
SKF offers seal welding equipment and the corresponding training. With the equipment and know-how, SKF customers can weld seals without the assistance of an on-site service technician.
