Rotor positioning bearings

SKF rotor positioning bearings are customized units with optimized mechanical integration between the magnetic impulse ring and the bearing in the application.

Integrated units:

• enable the use of almost any bearing type
• enable high speeds and temperatures
• generate strong magnetic pulses linked to the angular position of the rotor
• can emit the magnetic field in the axial or radial direction, through the centre of the shaft or at the end of the shaft
• are extremely robust under demanding operating conditions due to the high magnetic field strength
