SKF Ecowear 1000
SKF Ecowear 1000 is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material based on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) with the following properties:
- Low coefficient of friction
- Excellent wear resistance
- High impact strength, even at low temperatures down to -200 °C
- Very high creep resistance
- Water-repellent
- No swelling
SKF Ecowear 1000 is suitable for applications requiring exceptional sliding, wear or dry-running properties.
SKF Ecotex
SKF Ecotex is a compound based on thermosetting polyester resin and reinforced with fabric. The addition of graphite gives the material very good tribological properties for bearing materials in sliding systems. SKF Ecotex offers high compressive strength and exceptional friction and wear properties. It is therefore highly suitable for guide rings and bearing bushings. Because of its very low moisture absorption, SKF Ecotex is particularly suitable for use in water.
