Split cylindrical roller bearings

Split cylindrical roller bearings are intended primarily for applications where bearings are difficult to access. They are useful wherever maintenance or replacement of non-split bearings would require considerable additional time-consuming work and result in long and costly, or even unacceptable, machine downtime. Common applications for split roller bearings include crankshafts, cold pilger mill rolls, bucket wheel excavators, conveyor pulleys, rolling mill drive shafts and large ventilation installations.
