Cam followers

SKF cam followers are designed to run on all types of tracks and are used in cam drives, conveyor systems and similar applications. They are based on either needle roller or cylindrical roller bearings. Instead of an inner ring, they have a threaded solid stud.

They are available in several designs and variants:

• with or without a cage
• with several sealing solutions
• with an outer-ring running surface profile that can be:
• crowned as standard
• cylindrical (flat)

Unlike ball and roller bearings, where bearing size refers to bore diameter d, cam follower and support roller sizes refer to their outside diameter D.
